Common questions before installation, and a list of devices we've actually confirmed working. The app is free, so if you're unsure, try it on your own Android TV device first.
Verified TVs and inputs
This list records what Kaizu Electric has confirmed on real hardware, and when. It is not an exhaustive list of supported models — it's a record that grows as more devices are confirmed. Standalone display and notifications over another video surface are checked separately. Even an unconfirmed model may work for the standard standalone display if it's Android TV. Try it free first.

Xiaomi Mi TV (MiTV-MZTU0) was confirmed in August 2026 to show a call overlay above an external HDMI input. Other HDMI ports, audio/TTS, and long-duration display were not part of that confirmation.
* This TCL unit reports its model only as "Smart TV" at the OS level, so we've listed the product code (G10) recovered from its build information instead. This may not match the retail model name.
† The power-button cycle tested on this TCL unit was standby only, not a full Android reboot (BOOT_COMPLETED did not fire).
‡ The last segment (region code) of the model number varies by sales region.
§ Google TV Streamer is an HDMI-output-only streaming device (it plugs into a TV's HDMI input, not the reverse), so it has neither a built-in tuner nor an external HDMI input of its own.
On operation: since this device has no underlying video source (tuner or external HDMI input) to preserve visibility of, we recommend running Recept TV standalone, always in the foreground, rather than in overlay mode.

About installation
Does this replace the reception/call system we already use?
No. Your existing reception, queueing, billing, and records systems keep working exactly as they are. Recept TV only adds a call number display to the TV you already have.
Can a call appear over another video source?
By default, Recept TV displays calls in its own waiting and lightweight-signage surface. On compatible devices, the user can grant the required system access to show a notification over another video surface. Broadcast tuner, HDMI input, and same-device-app behavior depends on the exact TV, OS, manufacturer settings, active input, and protected-content path; operation is not guaranteed on every TV or input. Kaizu Electric verifies the target TV and input for construction deployments.
Is there a cost?
The app itself is free. TV/device sales, installation and cabling, configuration, and maintenance are quoted individually based on the scale and scope of the work.
Do we need an internet connection?
No. It works entirely within the same on-site LAN.
Where is installation/construction work available?
Installation, cabling work, and maintenance are initially available in the Tokai region (Aichi, Gifu, and Mie prefectures) in Japan. For other areas, please contact support to discuss. The app itself can be tried for free regardless of region.
Are you planning to partner with other electrical contractors?
We're exploring a certified installer partner program with other electrical/network construction companies to extend our service area. Certification criteria and partnership terms are not yet finalized. We'll share details once they are.
