Call displays for waiting rooms and storefronts
Turn the TV you already have
into a call display.
Enter a number from a phone or tablet, and a call card appears on the TV you already have. Your existing reception and number-issuing process stays exactly as it is — the TV is simply put to extra use.
Confirmed on real hardware: the call card displays over a live broadcast channel from the built-in tuner, and over an external HDMI input (tested with a PC as the source) — confirmed July 2026 on a test device. See the verified-device list for details.

The problem
Fewer "which number are you?"
moments.
A patient or customer doesn't know their number was called, staff repeat numbers out loud, and it's unclear whose turn is next in another room — familiar scenes in any waiting room.
The Recept TV fix
Just show the number
on the TV you have.
Instead of bringing in new hardware, the call card is layered on top of the TV screen already in the room. The program or waiting content keeps playing — only the card comes to the front, briefly.
How it works
Call someone in 3 steps
-
1
Enter a number on any device
From a phone, tablet, or PC browser, enter the reception number and destination.
-
2
The number appears on the TV
The number is shown large on the TV screen, with optional spoken readout.
-
3
It returns automatically
After a set time, the card shrinks or disappears and the original screen returns.
The app itself is free. If you already have an Android TV device, you can check whether it works in your own environment right now.
No need to worry
What Recept TV does not do
- It does not replace your existing reception, queueing, ordering, billing, or inventory systems — a clinic's electronic records, a restaurant's ordering/POS system, or a shop's register all keep working exactly as they do today. It only adds a number display.
- It does not display or store personal names or details such as clinical or order information. Only information that's fine to make public, such as a reception or queue number, is shown.
